FPA endorsed product user guides

The page details products for which FPA endorsed product users guides exist, as required by Technical Bulletin TB227 of the LPC Sprinkler Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations (incorporating BS EN 12845). FPA endorsed user guides are reviewed against a list of basic minimum information considered essential to installers.

Plastic pipes and fittings (See TB227.2.7)

There are currently no FPA endorsed plastic pipes and fittings product users guides, so at this time it is not possible to use plastic pipes for sprinkler service as detailed by LPC Sprinkler Rules clauses TB227.2.7 in sprinkler systems which are to conform to the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Systems.

Whilst FPA requires that manufacturers provide notification to FPA of any changes to product user guides, FPA assumes no responsibility for the currency of user guides. If in doubt, check with the manufacturer. Documents that do not correspond to the user guide reference above are not FPA endorsed and therefore do not meet the requirements of the LPC Sprinkler Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations.
